The outstanding athletic skills of Bishop Gorman quarterback Randall Cunningham II will be on display nationally tonight when the Gaels face the nation’s No. 1 rated prep team, Booker T. Washington High School of Miami, Fla.
The 6-foot-5 Cunningham is not only being recruited in football but also in track where he is one of the nation’s premier high jumpers – high school or college — having already cleared 7-feet, 3 1/4-inches as a junior.
With the Gaels enjoying a week off last weekend before tonight’s nationally televised showdown (ESPNU, 7 p.m.) against the Tornadoes, Cunningham took an official recruiting trip to Oregon … for track.
Hear what Cunningham thought about the trip as what other schools he’s considering in the video below:

Two other Gorman players also took unofficial trips last weekend.
Alize Jones, regarded by some scouts as the top junior tight end prospect in the nation, visited Notre Dame while safety Nicco Fertitta visited Boston College and took in the Eagles’ game against Florida State.
