Bishop Gorman safety Bubba Bolden picks USC

Bishop Gorman safety Bubba Bolden announced Saturday that he will attend USC.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound Bolden picked the Trojans over Ohio State and Arizona State. He made the announcement during the third quarter of the U.S. Army All-American Game in San Antonio, Texas.

Bolden had 25 tackles, seven interceptions and one very big field goal block as a senior in helping lead the Gaels to their third consecutive prep national championship.

Bolden’s field goal block in the second overtime of a 25-24 triple overtime win over St. Thomas Aquinas High of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Sept. 30 was arguably the biggest play of the season for the Gaels. Check out that play and other highlights from that game in the video below:
