Clark’s 62-52 victory over Valley had a true seesaw nature on Monday night.
The Chargers scored 15 of the first 19 points in the game and held a 16-6 lead after the first quarter. But Valley rallied back in the second quarter, cutting the deficit down to 28-22 at the break.
The back-and-forth action continued in the third, with Valley pulling to within three early and Clark pulling ahead by 12 in the middle of the frame. The end result: Clark led 46-37 going into the fourth.

Valley would pull within 55-52 with two minutes remaining in the game, until Clark pulled away down the stretch.
Diontae Jones and Sherron Wilson led the Chargers with 15 and 14 points respectively, while Cam Burton had a game-high 23 for Valley.
