Findlay Prep forward Anthony Bennett flew to Chicago today to play in Wednesday night’s prestigious McDonald’s All-American game at the United Center (6:30 p.m., ESPN).
The 6-foot-8, 230-pound forward, rated the nation’s No. 7 prospect for the Class of 2012 by ESPNU, and teammate Brandon Ashley will both then take a Thursday morning flight to Washington D.C. where they will join their top-seeded Findlay Prep teammates for their opening game of the National High School Invitational later that evening against D.C.’s Coolidge High in Bethesda, Md. (ESPNU, 5 p.m.).
Bennett is still considering five colleges – UNLV, Kentucky, Florida, Washington and Oregon – and said he plans to take official visits to all five schools before making his decision, likely in early May.
