Bennett to pick between UNLV and Oregon

Findlay Prep forward Anthony Bennett, the nation’s top unsigned senior prep basketball prospect, said that he will decide between UNLV and Oregon this weekend.
The 6-foot-8, 230-pound Bennett is a McDonald’s All-American who is rated the No. 1 power forward and the No. 7 overall prospect in the nation by Rivals.com.
Bennett, who took an unofficial trip to UNLV last week with this mother, also was considering Kentucky, Florida and Washington.
“I appreciate everyone that’s supportin me through all this, but I haven’t made my decision yet, ill pick between UNLV & Oregon on the weekend,” Bennett tweeted (@ABennett24) earlier this week.
Late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, a UNLV fan who grew up in Las Vegas, and Chumlee from the hit Las Vegas-based cable show Pawn Stars are among those who have urged Bennett on Twitter to sign with the Rebels.
UNLV has two scholarships remaining. If Bennett picks the Runnin’ Rebels, the other will likely go to a potential college transfer.
