UNLV football coach Bobby Hauck has picked up a verbal commitment from one of the top quarterback prospects in Arizona.
Scottsdale Horizon dual-threat Dalton Sneed announced on Twitter on Monday morning that he had committed to UNLV.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder is currently rated a two-star prospect by Rivals.com and earned three stars from ESPN. He picked the Rebels despite growing interest from Arizona and Arizona State as well as Army and Cornell.
Sneed is coming off a breakout junior season during which he completed 205-of-290 passes for 3,740 yards, 44 touchdowns and just eight interceptions. He also rushed for 498 yards and four touchdowns on 82 carries.
