No players with Las Vegas ties were selected among the 256 picks of the 2014 NFL Draft but two landed free agent contracts shortly afterward.
USC tight end Xavier Grimble, a former Parade All-American at Bishop Gorman High School, announced on Twitter that he inked a free agent contract with the New York Giants.
In 22 career starts during three injury-plagued seasons with the Trojans, Grimble caught 69 passes with 11 touchdowns. He was named a 2013 All-Pac-12 honorable mention.
Extremely blessed and excited to have an opportunity w/ the New York Giants! God is Good, New York what's good !!!!
