UNLV picked up a verbal commitment from one of the top basketball prospects from the Class of 2016 on Monday when Findlay Prep forward Justin Jackson announced on Twitter that he had picked the Runnin’ Rebels.
The versatile 6-foot-8, 220-pounder, who can handle the ball like a guard but is also big and strong enough to power inside, is ranked the 26th best player for 2016 by ESPN.com. He picked UNLV over offers from Arizona, Baylor, Florida, Pitt, Illinois, Indiana and Louisville.
